 “Hi Siobhán,

Great feedback from everyone so thank you so much for coming to see us!

Just to let you know what happened at school three weeks ago.  A third class boy in Justin Kelly’s room started to go puce and the boy next to him alerted the teacher.  Justin asked him if he was choking and the young lad couldn’t answer.  Justin sent one of the pupils for me and the other First Aid Officer.  By  the time we got there (approx. 2 minutes) Justin had taken the boy outside the classroom door and administered the Heimlech Manoevre on him.  A pencil as long as your thumb flew out of his mouth.  Apparently he had been at his tooth with it when he swallowed it!  Anyway I checked his airways, they seemed to be clear and I called his parents to bring him straight to the doctor for a checkup.  All reports came back grand and the young boy was back in class the following day, oblivious to the fact that he was in serious trouble the day before.

So thank you Siobán for the wonderful guidance that you gave us.  A life was definately saved as a consequence.

With gratitude!

“Just to say a big Thank You for the wonderful presentation of the First Aid Course on Saturday last.   I really enjoyed the day & felt I learned so much.

You made it very interesting and the day flew!  The little treats and the coffee were also a nice touch, but it was the learning that was invaluable.   I certainly feel much more aware and would be more alert if placed with an emergncy situation . . after the course I would definitely be more helpful and less of a hindrance!
I will happily recommend the course to anyone interested in doing it and display the Certificate in my salon!  It is clear you put alot of effort and thought into the programme.”

“I attended the general first aid course on October 9th. I was amazed at the amount of material that we got through in the day, with plenty of open sessions and interaction between the trainer and the attendees. The content of the course was very good and the delivery was excellent, I would highly recommend this course to anyone. Its amazing what someone can learn in a day if the delivery & teaching is right!”
