About Us
Who We Are
We established First Aid for Everyone in 2009 in response to a lack of organised professional courses related to teaching Paediatric First Aid Training in Dublin.
First Aid For Everyone is owned and managed by Siobhan Butler.
Siobhan has worked for over 20 years in an acute hospital setting. She is a qualified and registered general and paediatric trained nurse.
Before setting up First Aid For Everyone Siobhan worked the last 10 years at a busy Accident and Emergency department in a Dublin hospital.
In addition to her professional background she is a mother of four children. Like most mums, over the years, she has encountered many scenarios where her first aid skills as well as her nursing background came in handy.
Real Life Experience
It is that combination that make our First Aid courses so unique. We don’t just teach from a textbook. We fill our presentations with real life stories that have occurred at home, in parks and playgrounds as well as in hospitals.
The idea of setting up a First Aid training company came after Siobhan was asked by a group of mothers to teach them how to deal with an airway obstruction after one of the children choked during a meal.
Since then Siobhan has completed several courses to become a First Aid Response and Cardiac First Response instructor. For many years Siobhan has provided online First Aid training for US multinational companies as part the Emergency University in California. This background really helped during the recent pandemic to develop online First Aid courses for parents.
Take some time to learn First Aid and CPR. It saves lives, and it works.
We offer a variety of courses, specialising in Paediatric First Aid in the greater Dublin area.
